The silver branch is a symbol of divine inspiration, creativity, and devotion to the path of bliss. For women who are seeking a closer connection to Goddess, the silver branch she offers is a challenge and an invitation to come closer and explore the depths of our own wisdom.
The Sisterhood of the Silver Branch was created as a teaching and gathering place for daughters of the Goddess, who are truly sisters. In the months and years to come, the Sisterhood will continue to grow into an organization that includes more networking, circle seeding, and online as well as local connections for women of like mind and heart. The roots of the Sisterhood of the Silver Branch are in the Ninth Wave journey of connection to self and Goddess. After completing Ninth Wave, women who wish to continue on their guided journey can then step forward onto the Farther Shore, our second-year program. And those who feel called to vocation as priestess may explore that path in a third year of work, called Silver Grove. There are currently Sisters of the Silver Branch working on all three levels, as well as women who have been named as Priestesses of the Silver Branch. The Sisterhood is under the guidance of Lunaea Weatherstone, who serves as Grove Mother. Lunaea is a Priestess dedicated to the Goddess Brigid. She is former editor/publisher of SageWoman magazine, for which she is a regular columnist, in addition to writing and editing for calendars, books, and other publications.
